Community-led initiative to revitalize Brownsville

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The B.R.I.G.H.T.er Initiative (Brownsville Residents Improving Grounds, Homes, & Tomorrow) is a community-led effort to beautify the city.

Launched in September, the initiative aims to revitalize Brownsville by involving residents, businesses, and other stakeholders in various community improvement projects.

The initiative focuses on addressing issues such as illegal dumping, graffiti, and enhancing the city's aesthetics through art projects and uniform signage.

The upcoming event on Nov. 21 invites all interested parties to join in the effort to enhance the city's environment.
