Cold and snowy weather in the north may bring visitors to the Valley

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) —While parts of the Great Lakes are gearing up for their first snowstorms and rounds of rain this week due to multiple low-pressure systems, here in Texas, especially across the Rio Grande Valley, we remain under the influence of a dominant high-pressure system.

This system is keeping our region mainly dry, with comfortable temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to the upper 80s. The pleasant, sunny conditions are perfect for outdoor activities and might even draw visitors seeking a warm escape from colder parts of the country.

Enjoy this beautiful stretch of Texas weather as it is expected to continue over the next several days and into the weekend.
