Clear the Shelters enters final week, still time to adopt a furry friend

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — August 26th is National Dog Day, and in honor of that, Clear the Shelters reminds you that there is still time to help a shelter animal find a forever home.

From July 15 through September 15, you can donate to the Clear The Shelter Fund to support local shelters that are participating.

Beginning August 1, you can donate to the individual shelter or rescue of your choice.

We're raising money for Greater Good Charities, and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500, because every little bit helps.

Greater Good Charities works to help people, pets, and the planet. To date, we've invested over $650 million in cash grants, in-kind supplies, and direct programmatic support for this mission worldwide.

Clear the Shelters runs through August 31.
