PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Pharr held a ceremony on Thursday morning to honor law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
Fallen officers were remembered with a gun salute, a memorial walk, and the playing of Taps.
"Every year, we have a police memorial ceremony," said Pharr Police Chief Juan Gonzalez. "We're all one family. It's a time when we also give thanks to everyone who continues to serve for the betterment of our community."
