City of Mercedes schedule water pressure reduction

MERCEDES, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Mercedes is advising residents of an upcoming water interruption.

According to a City of Mercedes release, the Utilities Division has scheduled a water pressure reduction from 10 p.m. April 18 to 1 a.m. April 19.

The water pressure reduction will affect the north side of N. FM 491 Road to Mile 11 North, along with the following areas:

• Tiger's Drive Thru
• Sabinos Auto Service
• Melton Parks (East and West)
• Pedro Martinez and J.A. Garcia
• Las Flores Del Valle
• Casa Saldana Apartments
• Dollar General
• Mercedes Garden Subdivision
• Irrigation District # 9
• Mercedes Public Works
• Sgt. William G. Harrel Middle School
• Indian Hills Subdivision (East and West)
• Sewer Plant

City officials advise residents to take the necessary precautions and measures to prepare for the water pressure reduction.
