City of McAllen, McAllen ISD provide free Summer Meals for Kids program

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of McAllen and the McAllen Independent School District are providing free meals for children and teens 18 and under for its Summer Meals for Kids program.

The program begins on Monday, June 9, through Thursday, July 31, at the McAllen Public Library, located at 4001 N. 23rd St.

Additionally, there will be multiple meal sites throughout the community that will continue through Friday, Aug. 8.

No registration is required and meals will include breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The meals will be served on-site at participating locations, including schools, libraries, community centers and parks across the city.
