City of Harlingen to host Blanket Fest

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Harlingen is hosting its first South Texas Blanket Fest: Picnic and Pop-Up event.

The event will take place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the Lon C Hill Destination Park, located at 1217 Fair Park Blvd.

The city is hosting the event to celebrate the best parts of summer, which include cozy vibes, summer night skies, a movie under the stars, and bringing the community together.
