ALAMO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A new drainage project was celebrated by Alamo city leaders on Friday morning.
The project, a nearly $1 million investment, is part of the city's initiative to reduce flood risks and improve long-term infrastructure in the area.

Drainage improvements were made along Duranta Avenue and 13th Street, with collaboration from the Texas General Land Office and the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District.
