EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — City leaders joined on Tuesday to celebrate the unveiling of a new water tower in Edinburg.
The new 1-million-gallon water tower will enhance water service and improve water pressure for residents in the north Edinburg area.
"It's so important for our pressure and improvements to the north side of our city," said Edinburg Mayor Ramiro Garza.

Additionally, a water line approximately 1,800 linear feet long was installed to feed the water tower.
"This area is an area that is growing. There's no secret to that. But with this infrastructure improvement is going to make sure that we keep up with that growth," Garza said.
The new water tower is located on 3925 N. Business 281.
