City commission to discuss future for Rio Hondo police chief

RIO HONDO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Rio Hondo City Commission is scheduled to meet Friday to discuss Police Chief William Bilokury and his employment status.

Bilokury's status will be addressed in a special executive session.

The third item on the agenda will return to the open session to finalize whatever is discussed in the closed session.

According to the Rio Hondo city agenda, an interim police chief may be appointed by the end of the meeting.

City commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. at the Rio Hondo Municipal Building.
