Church to distribute chicken plates in Sebastian after floods

SEBASTIAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — If you live in Sebastian odds are you were affected by the storm that ran through the Rio Grande Valley on March 27.

Views from the expressway displayed many stalled cars on the side of the road Friday morning and plenty of water still along the frontage roads and in neighborhoods.

In response to this a church in Sebastian is giving out up to 1500 chicken plates to those in need.

The distribution will begin at 7 p.m. at 3517 Business 77 in Sebastian, across from the country store.
