Castañeda: Donna International Bridge will be fully operational very soon

DONNA, Texas – Donna International Bridge will be able to take fully loaded trucks, both northbound and southbound, very soon.

That is the prediction of April Castañeda, the new executive director of Donna Economic Development Corporation.

Castañeda said this will be a game changer for the city. Another big development will be State Highway 68, she said. 

Castañeda, who used to have the No. 2 role at Weslaco Economic Development Corporation, spoke about her plans to help develop Donna in a video podcast with the Rio Grande Guardian. Here it is:
