Car trapped underneath tractor-trailer rig in La Feria, driver hospitalized

 LA FERIA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — ValleyCentral is working on getting more information about a crash involving a tractor-trailer rig and another vehicle on Thursday night.

According to a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson, the driver of the car was transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. No fatalities were reported.

At approximately 10:33 p.m., at FM 506, crews with ValleyCentral saw a car trapped underneath an 18-wheeler.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., the car was successfully removed from underneath.
