Cameron County Sheriff's Office search for person of interest in auto theft

BAYVIEW, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Cameron County Sheriff's Office is looking to identify a woman in connection with an auto theft case.

According to the Cameron County Sheriff's Office, a white 2022 Buick Enclave SUV was taken from San Roman Road in Bayview.

Authorities say the woman drove the stolen vehicle through the Gateway International Bridge into Mexico.

The Cameron County Sheriff's Office shared a photo of the person of interest.
