Cameron County Sheriff's Office arrested suspect shooting near stadium

SANTA ROSA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Cameron County Sheriff's Office arrested a 46-year-old man in connection with shots fired near the Santa Rosa ISD Warrior Stadium, according to Santa Rosa City.

On Sunday, reports were received of shots fired near the area of the stadium, according to the city's Facebook page.

CCSO located a man and determined that he was shooting at the ground. There was no indication of injuries or property damage.

Valleycentral spoke to Cameron County Sheriff Manuel Treviño and identified the 46-year-old as Adrian Vasquez Reyes.

CCSO arrested Vasquez Reyes on charges of deadly conduct with a firearm.
