BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Travelers looking for food options at the Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport will have a new option available to them next month.
Brownsville Mayor John Cowen announced that Calacas Tacos and Beer will have a grand opening on June 5, where the Brownsville Chamber will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
"Calacas has become a popular local hotspot, and now you can enjoy their delicious food at the airport," Cowen said. "Don't miss this new dining experience at the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport!"
This will be the second Calacas location in Brownsville, which also has locations in Harlingen, San Benito, Pharr and South Padre Island.
