Bud Light launches limited-edition UTRGV beer cans

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Beers up in one hand and V's up in the other!

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is preparing to kick off its inaugural football season in one week.

What better way to "Rally the Valley" this upcoming season than with a crisp and cold can of Bud Light featuring the UTRGV Vaqueros brand?

The limited-edition beer is part of Bud Light’s initiative to bring fans the excitement and school spirit at home games, at the bar, or tailgates.

UTRGV Vaqueros Bud Light cans are now available at stores throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

Kick off to the inaugural UTRGV football game is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium in Edinburg.
