BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) —The Brownsville Children's Museum held its "Titans of Space" event.

The event took place on day two of the Brownsville SpaceFest, following the city's astro-festivities.

Children were able to experience firsthand a virtual reality exhibit and make space-related artwork.

"Today's activities are brought to you, not only by NASA, but Arizona State University, in a partnership that allowed us to bring a lot of space science to the community," said Felipe Peña, Executive Director of the Children's Museum of Brownsville.

Peña told ValleyCentral they hope to continue these types of events and bring more space programs to the community.
