BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Brownsville resident involved in an officer-involved shooting with law enforcement was arraigned on Thursday.
Alberto Pintor Jr., 25, was arraigned on two charges of aggravated assault, evading arrest with a motor vehicle, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Pintor led law enforcement officers on a chase Tuesday morning after refusing to pull over for a traffic stop.

During the chase, Pintor reportedly shot towards DPS troopers, missed, and abandoned his vehicle on Harding Street.
Five nearby schools were on lockdown after Pintor ran from the scene.
Officers with DPS, Brownsville Police Department, and U.S. Border Patrol found Pintor attempting to enter a residence armed with a handgun.
Authorities shot at Pintor and arrested him.
Pintor was issued a $640,000 bond for all four charges.
