Brownsville Fire Department offers fire safety tips with new initiative

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Brownsville Fire Department on Tuesday announced its latest fire safety initiative called Brownsville Bucket Brigade.

The community-driven effort, according to the fire department, is intended to reduce firework-related emergencies throughout the holiday season.

As part of the initiative, five-gallon buckets will be distributed at participating fireworks stands with each fireworks purchase, while supplies last.
