Brownsville Children's Museum celebrates 20 years with event

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Children's Museum in Brownsville is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a community event at Dean Porter Park.

The event will feature a range of activities within the museum, including crafts and programming, as well as outdoor activities such as kayaking and games.

A giant duck, symbolizing creativity and imagination, will be available for photos if the weather permits. The museum serves children from zero to about 10 years old and welcomes families to create special memories.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $12 per person.
