BPUB to temporarily shut off water Aug. 26, some customers affected

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Brownsville Public Utilities Board announced it will temporarily shut off water for some customers on Tuesday, Aug. 26. starting at 10 p.m.

According to BPUB, they will be tying in an 8" valve at the intersection of E. 13th Street and E. Washington Street.

BPUB says water service will be temporarily shut off for nearby customers until Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 2 a.m.

About 32 customers will be affected, according to BPUB.
