BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police arrested six people on Monday for allegedly possessing narcotics.
Brownsville police and K-9 officers conducted several traffic stops throughout the city. By the end of the day, they seized THC oil, marijuana, a handgun and 67 grams of cocaine.
During one traffic stop, officers arrested 37-year-old Frances Marie Reyna for possession of a controlled substance "THC oil," manufacture and delivery of cocaine "15.7 grams," possession of marijuana, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Reyna was also charged with burglary of habitation after a confession and was issued a $142,000 bond.
At another stop, officers arrested 27-year-old Melissa Reyes and 35-year-old Anna Lila Arriaga Ayala for possession of cocaine "7.8 grams," possession of controlled substance "THC oil" and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reyes was issued a $35,000 bond and Ayala a $45,000 bond.
On Monday, Brownsville Police Department Special Investigations Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on the 3800 block of Old Hwy 77. During an ongoing investigation, the residence was identified as being involved with the sale and production of narcotics.
Police arrested 51-year-old Sylvia Jean Longoria, 53-year-old Abelardo Mora Jr., and 61-year-old Ramon Reyna for manufacturing and delivering controlled substances PG 1>=4G<200G (43.5 grams of cocaine).
All three individuals were issued respective bonds of $100,000.
