HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The United States Border Patrol seized 15 pounds of cocaine that was allegedly concealed inside a farm tractor.
At 8:22 p.m., on June 13, U.S. Border Patrol agents conducted a vehicle stop on a John Deere tractor that was pulling a grain bugging near Los Indios, according to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.


After searching the vehicle, agents found six small packages, weighing a total of 15.5 pounds, containing alleged cocaine.
A K-9 from the Harlingen Police Department conducted a search of the tractor and alerted positively for the presence of narcotics, the release added.
The tractor operator was arrested and the tractor was seized.
