Body found in Harlingen hotel

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A death investigation is underway after a man's body was found inside a hotel room in Harlingen.

The body was found Sunday afternoon at the 1600 block of N. 77 Sunshine Strip.

Police did not disclose the man's name but were able to identify him as a 49-year-old Harlingen resident.

According to Orlando Gonzalez with the Harlingen Police Department, there were no visible signs of foul play.
