Body found in Donna hotel, police investigating cause of death

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Donna Police Department is investigating the death of an individual found inside a hotel room.

On Monday, authorities responded to a report of an unresponsive person at Victoria Palms Inn and Suites, located at 3309 E Interstate Hwy. 2, according to a news release from Donna PD.

At the scene, authorities found the deceased person in one of the rooms. At this time, authorities have withheld the identity of the victim pending the notification of next of kin.

Authorities are investigating the cause of death and foul play has yet to be determined, the release added.
