BCFS Health and Human Services event focuses on child abuse

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — BCFS Health and Human Services in Harlingen discussed an upcoming event focused on child abuse awareness and prevention.

The event is on April 11 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the BCFS Family Resource Center in Harlingen, located at 2202 S. 77 Sunshine Strip.

Activities for children include a McDonald's play van, a petting zoo, and a McAllen mobile pregnancy unit offering free sonograms.

Various vendors will provide information on resources such as medical, healthcare, mental health, educational, and childcare services.

The event aims to educate families and offer useful services, with no registration required for attendance.
