Autopsy ordered for man found dead in Brownsville parking lot

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death of a man found inside a vehicle in a Brownsville parking lot.

In a previous ValleyCentral report, Brownsville police responded to the 800 block of Washington Street regarding a man found inside a vehicle parked in a parking lot.

Items found inside the vehicle led investigators to believe the man had a possible drug overdose-induced death.

Authorities have not released the identity of the man.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death. This is an ongoing investigation.
