STARBASE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — SpaceX is scheduled to launch its ninth Starship rocket from Starbase Tuesday evening.

As previously reported by ValleyCentral, SpaceX aims to launch its ninth starship rocket on Tuesday with a launch window opening at 6:30 p.m.

Here is what the space company has planned for its ninth launch.

As previously reported by ValleyCentral, something that is different about this flight is that the chopsticks will not be playing a role with Super Heavy, as the reusable rocket is expected to splash down in the Gulf of Mexico, renamed by President Donald Trump's executive order as the Gulf of America.

One minute after liftoff, SpaceX anticipates that it will reach a Max Q or moment of peak aerodynamic stress on the rocket.

Two minutes and 35 seconds into the launch Super Heavy is expected to cut all of its engines off. Simultaneously, the vehicle is expected to undergo hot staging, a term used by SpaceX to define when the Starship Raptor ignition and stage separation begin.

At 2:47 minutes in Super Heavy is expected to have a boostback burn startup and the shutdown at 3:27 minutes in.

Hot-stage jettison is expected to take place at 3:29 minutes. At 6:19 the Super Heavy booster will begin its landing burn. By 6:40 minutes in, it should be shut down.

At 8:56 minutes in the Starship engines will cut off.

When the vehicle approaches 18 minutes into its flight, the payload demo will begin.

At minute 37:49 the Raptor Engine in space will relight.

Shortly after at minute 47:50 Starship is expected to make entry.

After an hour and three minutes of travel, Starship will be traveling at speeds just below the speed of sound in air.

One minute later, Starship will be flying at speeds less than that of sound.

Five minutes later it will attempt a landing flip and landing burn.

The full mission is expected to touch down at the landing site in an hour, six minutes and 38 seconds.
