MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The 11th annual Risk and Safety Expo is back this week in the City of McAllen.
The annual two-day event kicked off on Wednesday at the McAllen Convention Center in celebration of National Safety Month.
"We're talking about artificial intelligence and risk management. We're talking about cyber security breaches, claims mitigation, you know, general property and casualty claims management, and best practices," said Yoli Perez, McAllen Director for Risk Management.
The conference has welcomed risk management and safety professionals at municipalities, counties, school districts, and private businesses
Day two of the expo will continue at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
