On Saturday, authorities responded to a home on the 800 block of Mossy Oak Drive regarding a possible assault, according to Alamo PD.
During the course of the investigation, Alamo investigators conducted multiple interviews and obtained statements that led to sufficient probable cause for an arrest warrant.
Pineda was found at South Padre Island and taken into custody without further incident, according to police.
Police initially described the case as a sexual assault investigation, but later changed the charge to indecent exposure after speaking with witnesses.
Pineda, 19, was arraigned on Monday at the Alamo courthouse, where he was formally charged with indecent exposure, unlawful restraint and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
He was issued a total bond of $115,000.
