AEP Texas reports power outages in Hidalgo County

HIDALGO COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Approximately 144 residents in Hidalgo County are without power, according to the AEP Texas outage map.

The number of outages continues to drop as crew members restore power between Palmview and Weslaco.

Less than five power outages have been reported in Willacy and Cameron counties.

There have not been any reports of outages in Starr County.
