AEP reports nearly 12,000 customers without power

HIDALGO COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Power outages are being reported by AEP in Hidalgo County.

According to the AEP Outage Maps, 11,740 customers are reported without power.

AEP reports 6,407 outages in the McAllen area, 2,442 outages in the Edinburg area and 2,383 outages in the Pharr-San Juan area.

ValleyCentral reached out to AEP for a comment but did not receive a response.
