CAMERON COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Cameron County Parks and Recreation announced it will be closing fishing piers and boat ramps at the Adolph Thome Jr. County Park until further notice.
In a news release, the Cameron County Park and Recreation administration said the historically high rainfall caused the Arroyo Colorado to crest at new record levels.
For caution, the Parks and Recreation officials have temporarily closed the Adolph Thome Jr. county park to all recreational use.
