SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The South Texas Business Partnership recently held its 2025 South Texas Summit in San Antonio.
One of the panel discussions was titled “Building South Texas: Jobs, Education & Health.”
The three panelists were: Ron Garza, associate vice president of economic development at UT-Rio Grande Valley, Mike Ramsey, executive director of SA Ready to Work, and Dr. Lyssa Ochoa, a board-certified vascular surgeon, and CEO and president of The SAVE Clinic.
The panel moderator was Jessica Loudermilk, chairwoman of the South Texas Business Partnership .
The discussion centered on the evolving role of education and training to meet industry needs.
