A Salute to Military Mothers: VFU to host 5th annual luncheon

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Veteran Females United is inviting the community to its fifth annual fundraiser luncheon.

This year's luncheon is titled A Salute to Military Mothers.

The event serves as an opportunity for the community to celebrate and honor the sacrifices and service of all mothers who have served and those mothers who support their sons and daughters during military service and deployment.

Tickets for the event are on sale for $40. Tickets may be donated back to veterans and their families to attend the event.

The luncheon will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on May 4 at the Rio Events Center, located at 1800 N. Expressway in Brownsville.
