4Ever Family: Four Siblings

6 hours ago 36

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Every week, CBS 4 works to find a forever home for a Rio Grande Valley foster child as part of our “4Ever Family” partnership with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Meet a loving and bonded group of four siblings who are ready to meet their future family: Miguel, 11,  Ximena, 10, Pearl, 7, and Carmen, 3.

Miguel is and loves interacting with his peers, especially his siblings. He likes to play video games on his Gameboy, and his favorite subject at school is science. For fun, it’s a trip to an amusement park or water park. Miguel wants to attend college to learn more about vehicles.

Ximena is soft-spoken and is often seen playing with Barbies and dressing them in DIY clothing. She loves spending time reading or watching movies like The Karate Kid, which is one of her favorites. At school, her number one class is math. She plans to attend college and become a math teacher.

Pearl is energetic with a great sense of wit. She enjoys extracurricular activities such as climbing, swimming, and gymnastics. Other favorite activities are attending day camps, as she loves doing arts and crafts. Like her older sister, math is her class of choice. During her downtime, its watching videos such as Blue's Clues.

Carmen, who is the youngest, is a loving child who is very attached to her older siblings. At the moment, she doesn’t attend regular school yet, but very much enjoys attending reading with toddlers at the library. Picture books are her favorites. Carmen also shows a talent for anything artistic and gymnastics.

Some fun food facts about this fabulous foursome:

  • Miguel likes Dairy Queen and Mexican restaurants
  • Ximena's choice is a Mexican restaurant if they have green enchiladas on the menu
  • Pearl’s pick is Chick-fil-A
  • Camern’s favorite is pizza
