3 month old dies after being left in locked car

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A 3 month old was found dead in a vehicle after authorities says they were left in a locked car.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office reported that at 3:48 p.m. deputies responded to Mission Regional Hospital after receiving a report of an infant that was found unresponsive.

Medical personnel confirmed the child’s death.

Deputies visited a residence located at the 3200 block of John Mark Court in rural Mission where the alleged vehicle connected to the incident was.

Investigators are at the scene and are conducting an investigation into the child’s death.
