3 charged in Harlingen home drug bust

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A search warrant for drugs was executed on a home in Harlingen Monday.

Upon execution of the warrant, authorities found multiple drugs at the residence located on the 9700 block of King Bird Drive in Harlingen.

As a result of the operation, the following drug items were seized:

  • 17.75 ounces of marijuana
  • 216.5 grams of cocaine
  • 31.5 grams of crack cocaine
  • 4 grams of THC
  • 5.5 grams of Oxycodone
  • 249 rounds of ammunition
  • $6,156 in U.S. currency

Michael A. De La Rosa, of Harlingen, Martin Leal, of Harlingen, and Evelyn Quiroz, of Harlingen, were arrested in connection to this drug bust.

All of the individuals listed were charged with two counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

De La Rosa received a bond of $590,000. Leal and Quiroz each received respective bonds of $195,000.
