3 adults, 2 minors detained following house burglary in La Villa

LA VILLA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Five people were detained in connection with a house burglary in La Villa.

Deputies responded to the burglary at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at the 1300 block of San Juanita St.

Hidalgo County Constables Office Precinct 5 and the Texas Department of Public Safety assisted in locating the suspects.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office says that of the five suspects detained, three are adults and two are minors.

The adults will formally be charged with burglary of a habitation, and the two minors were released to their respective guardians.
