2 persons of interest wanted for McAllen robbery

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Police are searching for two people in connection with a robbery that occurred in a McAllen neighborhood.

The robbery happened on Sept. 10 at the 5900 block of Swallow Avenue.

According to the McAllen Police Department, the victim was sitting in his vehicle when two men approached him and demanded his property.

The victim was assaulted during the robbery, and several of his personal items were stolen.

The suspects fled on foot following the robbery.

Surveillance footage captured the persons of interest leaving the area following the robbery.

One of the persons of interest was last seen wearing a dark cap, a white shirt, a medium complexion, dark pants, goatee-style facial hair, and visible tattoos on his right arm.

The second man appears with a light complexion, a white shirt with a logo, dark shorts, and a visible tattoo on his left hand, according to a news release from the McAllen Police Department.
