2 children, 1 adult found dead with gunshot wounds in Texas

SCURRY COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Two children and one adult were found dead with gunshot wounds in Scurry County Sunday.

The Scurry County Sheriff's Office Confirms 1 female juvenile, 1 male juvenile, and 1 adult male were all killed by gunshot wounds at a residence on County Road 241. They were found dead around 8:30 a.m.

A press release from the Sheriff's Office states that there is no ongoing threat to the public and there is no indication any arrests will be made.

"Due to the sensitive nature of this incident and in consideration of the ongoing investigation,
no further details will be released at this time," the press release explains.
