1 injured by McAllen gunfire, shooter at large

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen Police officers responded to a report of shots heard Sunday afternoon in the area of the 2200 block of South 26th St.

The department's news release stated that around 3:19 p.m., one person was injured by gunfire. The victim was transported and treated at a local hospital.

The shooter remains at large.
