1 dead, 2 injured in Brownsville overnight stabbing

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Cameron County Sheriff's Office is investigating an overnight stabbing that left one person dead and two others hospitalized.

Deputies responded to the stabbing after midnight at the 2100 block of Florencia Ave. in Cameron Park.

At the scene, deputies found a lifeless 26-year-old man with stab wounds on his upper body.

Deputies also found two other people: a 34-year-old woman was found with stab wounds to her head and face, and a 34-year-old man with stab wounds to his shoulder, who was later detained.

The suspect is unknown at this time.
