1 dead, 1 arrested after shooting at Brownsville library

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police are on the scene of a fatal shooting at the Brownsville Public Library.

At 12:04 p.m., authorities responded to a call regarding an "unknown disturbance" the library located on the 2600 block of Central Boulevard.

When officers arrived they say they found one man unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. He has since died.

They say one man has been arrested.
