County 911 Communications Operators told deputies that a man identified as Rene Zuniga called on five occasions while remaining silent and had made multiple silent calls in previous days.

Deputies arrived at Zuniga's home, spoke with him, and confirmed the phone calls were made from Zuniga’s phone.

During the investigation, deputies learned that on March 30, Zuniga had again made silent calls to 911.

Zuniga was transported to the Carrizales Rucker Detention Center pending arraignment.

He is charged with silent or abusive call by electronic communication to a 911 Service, a Class B Misdemeanor.
