Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley celebrates April events

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley celebrates the month of April with three events that honor the Make-A-Wish organization.

"This year, we're celebrating the whole month. It is World Wish Month and we have a big campaign called "Wish Makers Wanted", where we're trying to get more volunteers to come and get more people engaged, trying to share in the power of the Wish. We know that more kids need their wishes, granted, so we're here this month to educate the community to get volunteers and help raise funds to grant these wishes," said Rebecca Ramirez, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley.
