BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Organizers say Rally in the Valley 3.0 was a huge success. Over 400 students and 50 employers attended one of the top internship expos in South Texas.

Karla De La Riva, director of workforce and business development for the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation, said the event facilitated valuable connections between high school students and industry leaders, providing insights into future career pathways.

Students engaged in mock interviews across multiple industries, gained firsthand knowledge from industry professionals, and explored internship opportunities.

“Through Rally In The Valley, we aim to bridge the gap between education and industry, preparing students for successful careers and contributing to the economic vitality of the region,” De La Riva told the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service
