Roma native advances on The Voice competition

ROMA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Valley native is turning heads and chairs for his performance on Season 25 of The Voice.

Frank Garcia from Roma sang his version of Adele's "Love in the Dark" infront of The Voice judges during a blind audition.

Blending his mariachi and cultural background with his love for R&B music landed him a spot to train with new judges, pop-duo Dan + Shay.

Valley native Francisco "Frank" Garcia performs on The Voice.

"I'm so incredibly grateful and blessed to be here right now," Garcia said on The Voice.

Garcia is no stranger to musical performances, first appearing on TV singing competitions at 10 years old.

He has also competed with the Roma High School Varsity mariachi group, in the Mariachi Extravaganza National Voice Competition and performed in the Fort Worth Opera.

"It has been such a beautiful experience already and I can't wait to see what happens next," Garcia said.

The Voice airs on NBC every Monday at 7 p.m. and Tuesday at 8 p.m. Make sure to tune in to root for Garcia.
