UTRGV baseball hosts 956 night for Battle of the Cities game

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is hosting "956 Night" event during the Battle of the Cities baseball game.

The UTRGV baseball team will go against UT Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The first 1,956 fans will receive a free 956 t-shirt. During the event, there will be a best-decorated sombrero contest and a grito contest.

The first, second and third-place winners of the contests will receive a gift card.
